MAC Girl About Town Lipglass Review

MAC Cosmetics “Girl About Town” lipstick is one of the brand’s most popular shades. Now the infamous and coveted, lipstick is available in a lipglass. For those makeup lover’s, who aren’t quite comfortable with wearing bold lip colors, the lipglass version of “Girl About Town” might suit you just fine.

“Girl About Town” is a lovely brightened fuchsia-pink lip gloss. It is fully opaque with the typical thickness of most MAC lipglass products. The application is smooth and even with a wear time of about 3-4 hours. I really enjoy wearing this lip color with a neutral eye to add some interest and a pop of color. “Girl About Town” is absolutely gorgeous on any complexion and skin tone. Try coordinating the lipglass with the lipstick for an added bit of punch.

This would be a great alternative to your current red lip color. It is dark enough to compliment dark and deep skin tones while being bright enough to add color to your look. As for a lipliner, I wouldnt use one unless it was a neutral that matches the tone of your lips. Remember lipliners can alter the shade of a lip product so be careful unless that is your goal. Try orange based shades as well… 😉
